Minston’s Catering. A full service catering affair.

Weddings, from the rehearsal dinner on.

The reception, the rehearsal dinner, and the snacks the bridal party actually remembers. We have been catering weddings around Atlanta long enough that our oldest reviews are from other people's anniversaries.

Hors d'oeuvres
from $4 a head
Build-your-own stations
from $14 a head
Server or bartender
$225 for 4 hours
Chef carving on site
$300 for 4 hours

Thirty-eight hors d'oeuvres to choose from, grouped so a mixed table is easy to build: vegetarian, poultry, pork, beef and lamb, and fish. Lamb lollipops with mint chimichurri and bistro filet medallions at the top end, spanakopita and caprese skewers at the other, all priced by the head with a ten-guest minimum.

Stations are self-serve and built to be picked at through an evening — a taco bar where you choose three proteins, a slider trio, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles. For a seated dinner we plate and carve on site.

Staffing is where a wedding is won or lost. Servers and bartenders come at $225 for four hours with a clear hourly rate after that, and china, glassware and linens can come with them so nothing is hired from three different places.

Questions we get asked.

How far ahead should we book wedding catering?
As early as you have a date. The website enforces a minimum of five days for staffed stations and seven where staff or rentals are involved, but a wedding deserves months rather than days, and popular Saturdays go first.
Do you provide servers and bartenders?
Yes. Servers and bartenders are $225 for four hours, then $40 an hour. Chef carving and plating on site is $300 for four hours, then $80 an hour. Any additional hours are charged the following day.
Can you supply china and glassware?
Yes. A china package is $5 a head and covers dinner and salad plates, cutlery and water glasses. Barware is $1 a glass across water, highball, wine, champagne and pilsner. Tablecloths are $25 a table with colour and size options.
Do you do tastings?
Talk to us. Tastings are arranged around the menu you are considering rather than from a fixed list, so the conversation comes first.
